Dreamwood Farm is located on two acres of hilly pasture in the beautiful Hudson Valley area of New York. We specialize in high quality huacaya alpacas and friendly personal service. We have been blessed with great mentors ourselves and hope we can do the same for others. We strongly believe that the success of each alpaca breeder enhances the success of the industry as a whole.

Our breeding females and the herdsires to whom they are bred are selected for their potential to produce the fiber animals of the future. We breed for correct conformation, health, excellent mothering ability, and for density, crimp, staple length, consistency, coverage and fineness that carry well into maturity. The health and happiness of our alpacas is also very important to us and we look for hardy animals with good dispositions that will provide genetic and color diversity in our herd.

We are conveniently located 15 minutes from historic Hudson, 2 hours north of New York City, less than an hour south of the Capital Region and half an hour from the Massachusetts and Connecticut borders. If you have any questions or would like to set up a farm visit please email or call us.
